Belgian police are investigating allegations that figures working on behalf of Qatar, the Gulf monarchy and World Cup host, have paid European politicians huge bribes to influence the Brussels policy debate.

GREEK CONNECTION
The Belgian federal prosecutor's office did not identify the arrested by name, but a judicial source confirmed to AFP that European Parliament vice president, Greek socialist MEP Eva Kaili, 44 was among those charged with corruption and remanded in custody on Sunday after Belgian investigators found "bags of cash" €600000 (£515,000) ($930,540 AUD) in her home. Police also seized computers and mobile phones. According to Belgian news reports, Kaili's father is also implicated, caught transporting cash "in a suitcase".
ITALIAN CONNECTION
Updated: Among the six arrested on Friday, after at least 16 police raids of premises in Brussels, were the former S&D MEP Pier-Antonio Panzeri Panzeri’s wife and daughter were also arrested in Italy by Italian police acting on a European arrest warrant. The warrant, seen by POLITICO2, accused Panzeri of “intervening politically with members working at the European Parliament for the benefit of Qatar and Morocco.” Also a fellow Italian Luca Visentini, the general secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) was arrested.

I sneered at the soft shoes tapping headline “Lobbying Scandal” rest assured the culture of bribing in the western world is no less than Europe this “Major Corruption” pay-to-play has been rife in the US. The worst example people would be familiar with concerns Hillary Clinton she was a pro at extracting bribes for favours done through her official and political positions in Government.
America has yet to bring her and many others to account for these criminal actions and it will not stop at Hillary’s desk it will take the pathway to Obamas desk with a bunch of stop overs in between. The bribery trail is always greater than one or two players when it comes to the political bureaucratic playing field.
I am of the opinion the roundup of Scumbaggery holding political office in US is dreadfully overdue and is desperately needed as America teeters on the edge of falling into a banana republic run by gangster cartels!
