Dmitry Peskov confirmed a ceremony at the Kremlin in just over two hours will see the four areas admitted to the Russian Federation - within borders of 2014.

The Kremlin Spokesperson said Moscow's demands have not changed and the special operation will continue, as Kiev is not willing to negotiate.

He also stated Russia does not want to see a nuclear escalation.
