Pam Bond's claims there was no Epstein client list and efforts to shut down the case are such a moment.
Trump's subsequent floundering efforts to silence questions about Epstein have only made matters worse for the Administration, which is now wallowing in scandal. The Trump is caught in something like quicksand. The more you thrash and flap about, the deeper you sink.
